Built to Be Badass Since 1914
Congrats Cesar Huerta and Colin Orr!

The “Built to Be Badass” Campaign
We’re excited to launch our “Built to Be Badass” campaign during the 2022 National Nurses Week. At its core, “Built to Be Badass” celebrates the profession of nursing, the nurses of today and tomorrow, the history of nursing, and the history of Oak Point University as an institution that’s educated nurses since 1914.

Oak Point University is proud to celebrate National Nurses Week! Oak Point wants to recognize the nurses who make our communities, and the world, a healthier place. We want to shine a spotlight on the profession of nursing, the nurses of today and tomorrow, the history of nursing, and the history of Oak Point University as an institution that’s educated nurses since 1914.

Meet Our Campaign Badasses
Oak Point University alumni stories illustrate the “badassery” of nursing in action and offer inspiration for the next generation of nurses. Hearing the life stories and career arcs, the far-from-ordinary career opportunities, and the paths that led from anguish to metamorphosis give “Built to Be Badass” the power to connect. We want those with similar shared hopes and dreams to hear the stories and say, “Yes, I am a badass, and that can be me!”
