Alumni Holiday Event Brings Warm Clothing to Needy Families

December 28, 2012 // Oak Point University

A large group of young alums gathered at Healy’s Westside Tavern on Thursday, December 13, 2012 to meet up with classmates and bring some joy to needy families.  Every alum who attended brought along a children’s hat, scarf, gloves or mittens which were donated to the Salvation Army on behalf of the Oak Point University Alumni Association.  Everyone enjoyed the festive evening which included an open bar, a light buffet, and a holiday gift, a Oak Point “Harry Potter” winter scarf.  Oak Point University faculty and staff were also in attendance.
