Two Male Nurses Win #BadassNurses Grand Prizes After Over 8,000 Votes Were Cast In Oak Point University’s Inaugural Contest
Oak Point University is pleased to announce two badass male nurses are the grand prize winners of its Calling All #BadassNurses Contest. Oak Point University, an academic leader that has prepared students for successful careers as nurses and nurse leaders since 1914, launched its inaugural Calling All #BadassNurses Contest during National Nurses Week that resulted in more than 400 nominations. Eighteen finalists were chosen: nine in each of two categories—Oak Point University alum and non-alum. The two grand prize winners were determined by public voting from June 15 through June 30.
Voting is open today to determine who will be the winners in Oak Point University’s “Calling All #BadassNurses” contest. Launched during National Nurses Week, Oak Point University, an academic leader that has prepared students for successful careers as nurses and nurse leaders since 1914, has selected 18 finalists from more than 400 submissions. The public is encouraged to vote for winners in two grand prize categories (Oak Point University alum and non-alum) now through 11:59 p.m. CDT on Thursday, June 30. All finalists are listed in random order at badassnurses.org.
Oak Point University, an academic leader that has prepared students for successful careers as nurses and nursing leaders for more than 100 years, is “Calling All #BadassNurses” for recognition and reward in a contest launched during National Nurses Week. Now through June 10, nominate yourself, or someone else, by submitting a short narrative and photo or video for prizes culminating on July 7 with the award of two grand prize vacations and the opportunity to appear in phase two of the “Built to Be Badass” marketing campaign.
