Class of 1962 Tours the University

October 8, 2012 // Oak Point University

Members of the Class of 1962 gathered in the hallways and dormitory rooms of what was once the West Suburban Hospital School of Nursing. The class held their 50th reunion the night before with over 60 guests. The tour brought out stories of sneaking back in to the dorms after curfew, and of working late nights together in the hospital. This tour was especially important to the alumni because this was the last time they would be able to see the school before the move to Wicker Park. Joan Kullberg Hacquebord of Tampa, Florida organized the tour. She was accompanied by Alice May Windish, Judith Irene Alger Dutton Brooks, Mary Ann Blom Berry, and Sharon Cowqer Rominger.
