Reflections Magazine Wins Gold!

Reflections Magazine, the official publication of Oak Point University, received a Gold Award for design excellence in the external publication category from the 27th Annual Education Advertising Awards, a national advertising and marketing awards competition sponsored by the Higher Education Marketing Report.  Paintbox Design, a graphic design and photography studio located in Oak Park, Illinois, is the design firm of record for the magazine.  The University also received a Merit Award in the total recruitment category for transit (bus tail) advertising.  Donovan Design, Chicago, is the advertising agency of record for Oak Point University.

This was the first time Oak Point University had entered the competition, which featured the work of nationally ranked colleges and universities from across the United States including such schools as Auburn, Boston College, Carnegie Mellon, DePaul, Indiana State, Michigan, Northwestern, Oklahoma State, Purdue, Syracuse, Tulane, and USC.

“It’s a great honor to be recognized for excellence in such illustrious company,” said Scott Dunnell, Executive Director of Marketing and Admissions for Oak Point University.  “It also helps to have outstanding design partners.”

Oak Point’s bus advertising grabs the Merit Award

The Educational Advertising Awards is the largest educational advertising awards competition in the country. This year, over 2,900 entries were received from more than one-thousand colleges, universities and secondary schools from all fifty states and several foreign countries.  Reflections Magazine is published twice a year and distributed to alumni and friends of the University.
