Oak Point University encourages excellence in scholarship and gives recognition to undergraduate students whose work is superior by publishing the Dean’s List and the Dean’s Commendation at the end of each semester. To qualify for either recognition, baccalaureate students must be in good academic standing, have earned no grade lower than a C, and have no incomplete grades during the semester.
To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must have earned a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher while competing a minimum of 12 semester hours in the semester. To qualify for the Dean’s Commendation, students must be designated as a part time student, complete a minimum of 6 semester hours in the semester and have earned a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
