Juno can sit independently, respond accurately to medications, and easily be transported to classrooms for mini-simulations. In addition to being used in foundations and health assessment labs, Juno’s software can be employed in the classroom, with or without the manikin, to demonstrate several physiologic responses. The software includes an EKG showing a heart rhythm; a fetal monitor tracing with contractions; and a display of changes to vital signs, such as heart rate, respiratory rate, and blood pressure, that are affected by medications that can be virtually administered.
